Reformulation of the Central Library of the University of Minho

The scope of the work was based on the reformulation of floor 3 of the Central Library (SDUM) of the University of Minho located at the Gualtar Campus in Braga.

The reformulation aims to integrate the Documentation Services - Oriental Studies, based on principles of greater flexibility and functionality and, consequently, improving space management.

The intervention thus went through its complete demolition, giving rise to the new oriental study room and to several individual and / or group work rooms, as well as to individual study booths.

All common areas, storage rooms and sanitary facilities were restructured, and all the space reorganized with new electrical installations, HVAC, water, SCI, CCTV, among others.
